Decided to stay the day in Zubiri to give Pebbles a rest day after the Pyrenees. Took Pebbles for a swim in the river Agra we did swim! Very refreshing them had lunch by the river lovely.

Plenty of road works to confuse us, at one point we thought we were about to join the Motorway! We are camped by the road side in a small village called Astrian followed the N111 towards Puenta La Reina. We are in the middle of a heat wave.

We are in a little village called Ayegui, absolutely exhausted, we started at 6.30 to beat the heat, and climb the never-ending hills, then Pebbles' shoes were coming loose so we had to keep going beyond Estella to where a Farrier could be found…a wonderful establishment. Pebbles is in a stable with a new set of shoes and are just now cooking supper.

We are in a beautiful little village called Sansol. Fantastic scenery, vast expanses of undulating land with plots of olive trees and vineyards surrounded in the hazy horizon by escarpments of mountains. Beautiful until we have to climb them! Just sitting down to supper with a glass of red local wine bliss! We did about 30k. We have followed the NA111 having tried the Camino the surface was an obstacle nightmare!

We are camped in a field at the bottom of the village Granon. Day has been very long and hot. We tried following the off road camino for walkers very hard on Pebbles and the carriage!

Left campsite late about 10 went into Granon to fill up with water and buy bread. Delicious bread and home made biscuits. We then headed off along the Camino but leaving it at the next exit much to hard on Pebbles. Arrived in Belorado in the midst of their fiesta! Found a nice place to camp by the Tiron River.
