We left Les Aspres after a very enjoyable time spent with the family whose farm it was. They invited us for dinner and it was all food off the farm finished off with home made Calvados the beef fondue was from their beef the chicken was one of the 20 thousand that they reared from 6day old chicks for the supermarket amazing to see all those chicks under one roof! Had a hot shower and left after breakfast and for headed for Mortagne-au-Perche then Belleme camped in a very nice field along side a farm, the sun is still hot!

We have arrived in a farm just outside a small village called Volnay on the D33. Lovely old couple retired farmers the house and farm has been in the family for 3 generations. Our tent is in the fruit orchard and Pebbles is in with us. We have to hide the bread otherwise she steals it! We did about 63k today. Our route took us thru La Ferte-Bernard,St.Martin des Monts,Beille,Connerre,le Breil sur-Merize,Surfonds.
