Tuesday 24th July

After long farewells we left for the town of Eu. Hubert one of the sons had kindly organised for us to stay at a farm just outside Eu. We arrived there at about 5pm setup camp.

Wednesday 25th July

Set off late about 11.30 and made our way into Eu to go to the Tourist Info center. We were there maybe an hour with directions given for a disused railway track. A big mistake as it was very stony and hard going for Pebbles we left it to join the road as soon as possible and made our way to Neufchatel Sur Bray arriving at a farm about 6pm. we were tired so headed into the village for a bite to eat and then bed. Pebbles had a nice paddock to wander around in.

Thursday 26th July

Left at about 9.30am for Buchy only 20k not far at all. We have spent a
very pleasant evening with a French family who invited me to stay from England. They have been wonderful. Michel and Anouk Jacquemart

We have crossed the Siene! On a little pontoon ferry at Jumieges beautiful morning on our way to Brionne.

Sunday 29th July

It has been pouring wiith rain all morning we left at 8 and are soaked!
We have stopped for the day and it is still raining! We are taking shelter in a battle stable huge big enough for a family home the tent is up and Pebbles is under the same roof. The farm is in the village of les Aspres. We left Beaumont le Roger at 8 passing thru Beaumesil, la Barre en-Ouche, Glos-la-Ferriere, L'Aigle thats it and we have been invited for dinner by the farmer to join him and his family.
